Traffic Fee Schedule

As of JULY 1, 2023, the base price for an Indiana traffic citation (class C infraction) is $139.50. The following is a list of fines that are added to the base price to determine how much your ticket will be.

Moving Violation $135.50 plus
0-10 MPH over limit $6.50
11-20 MPH over limit $21.50
21-30 MPH over limit $35.50
31 MPH or more over limit Call Clerk's Office
Violation of a worksite speed limit $300.00

All probationary license holders issued a moving violation in excess of 15 MPH over posted limit  is a mandatory court appearance and must bring license to court. Payment will not be accepted until after court appearance.

Seatbelt & Child Restraint Violations are a flat fee of $25.00
